Base Salary

$140k - $180k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end cloud architectures, reference architectures, patterns, and best practices aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Lead solution design for cloud-native, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
  • Evaluate cloud services and recommend designs optimized for performance, security, and cost.
  • Architect and support application and data migrations, including re-hosting, re-platforming, and re-architecting.
  • Design solutions using containers, serverless services, and managed platforms.
  • Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, governance, high-availability, disaster-recovery, backup, and resiliency requirements.
  • Partner with security teams on identity, access management, and data protection.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on implementation, architecture reviews, technical decisions, and delivery planning.
  • Communicate architecture decisions, trade-offs, and roadmaps to technical and executive audiences.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure, or solution architecture.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience architecting solutions on AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, platform services, application architecture, integration patterns, and APIs.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
  • Knowledge of data platforms, analytics, or integration middleware is preferred.
  • Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect are preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
