Responsibilities
- Design, develop, debug, test, and maintain software for customer and internal needs.
- Work with software requirements from customers, application engineers, hardware engineers, and firmware engineers.
- Contribute to existing and new projects across Java, Kotlin, Python, TypeScript, and React.
- Collaborate with applications and systems engineers to troubleshoot system failures and propose software remedies.
- Participate in code reviews and investigate new technologies to improve the developer experience.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience with breadth and depth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong technical expertise in Java; Kotlin knowledge is strongly preferred.
- Experience with JavaFX or GUI development, including exposure to JavaScript or TypeScript, is preferred.
- Understanding of software architecture and design principles, behavior-driven development, and unit testing.
- Strong written and verbal cross-functional communication skills.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and GitLab is preferred.
- Experience with basic electronics, microcontroller programming, and bus communications is preferred.
