Base Salary
$168k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of security strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to security engineering teams and stakeholders.
- Architect and design secure systems, applications, and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement security controls, monitoring systems, and response mechanisms.
- Identify and assess security risks, vulnerabilities, and threats.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and incident response plans.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches.
- Mentor and train junior security engineers on best practices.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to address security concerns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 8-10+ years of experience in security engineering.
- Deep expertise in security technologies, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Proven experience with cloud security, network security, and application security.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills for complex security challenges.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
