Responsibilities
- Design and implement workflow orchestration with Flowable BPMN/DMN, Java delegates, task listeners, decision tables, and process variable management.
- Build and maintain RESTful microservices using hexagonal architecture and CQRS read/write service separation.
- Implement multi-step approval workflows, including review chains, auto-approval logic, and scope manager integration.
- Work with PostgreSQL schemas, JPA/Hibernate entity mappings, Spring Data repositories, query optimization, and schema migration strategies.
- Integrate GCP Pub/Sub for audit event publishing and asynchronous communication.
- Develop and maintain API documentation, automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment workflows.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Java experience, including Java 21 features such as records, pattern matching, and sealed classes.
- 5+ years of Spring Boot experience, including auto-configuration, profiles, Actuator, and security.
- Experience with Spring Cloud, Feign clients, service discovery, and distributed configuration.
- Experience with Flowable or Activiti, including BPMN, DMN, JavaDelegate, TaskListener, process variables, and history service queries.
- Experience with JPA/Hibernate, PostgreSQL, RESTful API design, pagination, filtering, CQRS, and DTO mapping.
- Experience with JUnit 5, Mockito, integration testing, embedded databases, REST Assured, Git, code review, and merge conflict resolution.
- Preferred experience with GCP Pub/Sub, Cloud Build, GKE, Cloud SQL, Helm, Kubernetes, Skaffold, Lombok, MapStruct, OpenAPI, and Swagger.
- Preferred knowledge of hexagonal architecture, domain-driven design, performance optimization, caching, and batch endpoint design.
