Base Salary
$250k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance platform services including API gateways.
- Build and evolve Aeron-based messaging infrastructure for reliable communication.
- Address distributed systems challenges such as ordering guarantees and zero-downtime deployments.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure platform services meet trading workflow requirements.
- Provide reusable service infrastructure for scalable and reliable services.
Requirements
- 7+ years of backend engineering experience with proficiency in Go, C++, Java, Rust, or similar languages.
- Demonstrated ownership of large-scale distributed systems from design to deployment.
- Strong understanding of concurrency, memory layout, I/O models, and network protocols.
- Experience designing systems with stringent correctness guarantees.
- Ability to manage projects end-to-end without needing supervision.
- Proven track record of leading technical decisions and navigating ambiguity.
