Responsibilities
- Build processes and technology tools to ingest, tag, and clean datasets.
- Assist Data Scientists with data processing, enrichment, and product development.
- Contribute to infrastructure and applications primarily written in Python, as well as Go and C++.
- Monitor and enhance automated data collection and cleansing infrastructure.
- Research new technologies to improve data management and retrieval efficiency.
Requirements
- B.S. or higher in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, physics, or another relevant quantitative field.
- Proficiency in Python and its ecosystem, including numpy, pandas, polars, and scikit-learn, with an understanding of Python and library internals.
- Hands-on experience with software architecture and engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD, monitoring, profiling, and version control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex problems, optimize code, and develop efficient solutions.
- Proficiency with Go and/or C++ is not required but is a significant plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to high ethical standards.
