Responsibilities
- Own technical solution design for automated payment monitoring, alerting, historical payment repositories, data feeds, ETL, integrations, and automation or AI options.
- Lead hands-on remediation build and delivery across WebSeries, EF, Bankware, and Kyriba, guiding developers and vendor contractors.
- Support production systems and ensure remediation and updates follow formal change management protocols.
- Design data and access governance solutions including encryption, automated access removal, and access-management integrations.
- Define and implement anomaly-detection data and alerting capabilities for duplicate, unusual, failed-login, and post-approval payment activity.
- Support MFA across payment channels and bank portals and provide technical input on banking-partner governance.
- Ensure solutions are tested, deployed with minimal disruption, auditable, maintainable, and documented.
- Collaborate with Treasury, Risk, Audit, Architecture, and senior leaders to drive delivery and explain technical solutions.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of technical delivery experience, including a technical lead or senior developer role on finance, treasury, or payments platforms.
- Hands-on experience with payment or treasury platforms such as Kyriba or Bottomline WebSeries, bank connectivity or portals, and wire, ACH/EFT, and cheque payment flows.
- Strong experience with data feeds, ETL, data repositories, integrations, APIs, SFTP or file-based processing, and AWS cloud services such as Glue, S3, and Lambda.
- Hands-on expertise with IDMC, Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud, and PowerCenter.
- Experience supporting production systems and formal change management processes.
- Ability to design rule-based or AI-enabled monitoring using historical data to detect payment and access anomalies.
- Understanding of encryption at rest and in transit, MFA, SSO/SAM, user-access governance, segregation of duties, and audit evidence requirements.
- Proven ability to lead developers and vendor resources, review designs and code, and drive delivery in an Agile environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience with Kyriba, Bottomline WebSeries, Bankware, equivalent treasury or payment systems, AI-enabled automation, security remediation, fraud or anomaly-detection tooling, TPRM, ISRA/PIA, internal-audit remediation, or large enterprise environments is preferred.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain the required security clearance is required; active Government of Canada Security Clearance is preferred.
