Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain end-to-end features across React, TypeScript, Django, Python, and PostgreSQL.
- Design secure, scalable RESTful APIs and integrate with Google and other third-party services.
- Architect reusable frontend and backend patterns and drive features from discovery through deployment and production support.
- Own automated testing across frontend, backend, and end-to-end layers.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve application performance, reliability, and observability.
- Identify and resolve defects, technical debt, and architectural risks.
- Review designs and code, mentor engineers, and raise engineering standards across teams.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, and engineering squads on planning and delivery.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building production web applications with strong hands-on React/TypeScript and Python/Django expertise.
- Proven ability to own complex full-stack features and systems end to end.
- Deep React expertise, including hooks, component architecture, accessibility, and state management with Redux or Zustand.
- Deep Django expertise, including the ORM, migrations, authentication and authorization, and Django REST Framework or similar tooling.
- Strong RESTful API, third-party integration, PostgreSQL, relational data modeling, query performance, and transactional design experience.
- Mastery of frontend tooling such as Vite and NPM, plus GitHub Actions or comparable pipelines.
- Strong automated testing experience with Vitest or Jest, Pytest, and Playwright.
- Strong understanding of application security, API security, and secure coding practices.
- Experience deploying and operating containerized applications in cloud environments; GCP and Kubernetes experience is a plus.
- Exceptional architecture, debugging, problem-solving, technical leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional influence skills.
