Base Salary

$144k - $328k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, maintain, and optimize high-volume business logic running on mainframe systems.
  • Monitor architecture and identify opportunities to improve code efficiency and mainframe performance.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions in mission-critical applications.
  • Extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or integration with cloud-based services.
  • Refactor legacy code so cloud and mobile applications can interact with mainframe core data.

Requirements

  • Experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects.
  • Strong coding and software development experience with Java, Python, .NET, or comparable technologies.
  • Experience developing scalable and robust software using software development methodologies.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML, JSON, and REST-based web services.
  • Knowledge of architecture design, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and messaging queues.
  • Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
  • Preferred experience includes certification in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform and experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices.
