Base Salary
$200k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, integration, and deployment of cloud-native software solutions for mission-critical operations.
- Architect and implement AI/ML and LLM-enabled capabilities within enterprise and operational systems.
- Design and develop scalable microservices and APIs.
- Collaborate with government and contractor stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development and engineering teams.
- Support modernization through automation, cloud adoption, and DevSecOps practices.
- Ensure software security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Requirements
- At least five years of hands-on experience developing and supporting microservices-based architectures.
- At least five years of experience with containerized applications and Kubernetes-based environments.
- Experience developing, integrating, deploying, and operationalizing ML models, AI solutions, LLMs, and AI-enabled workflows or applications.
- Familiarity with AI frameworks, model deployment, inference pipelines, and retrieval-augmented generation architectures is preferred.
- DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or equivalent Cyber Workforce Framework certification, such as Security+ CE or CySA+.
- Experience with Docker, Podman, Buildah, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Helm.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, or AWS CodeBuild.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure automation.
- Experience administering Linux environments including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, and Ubuntu.
- Experience scripting with Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
- Experience designing and maintaining applications and infrastructure on AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience developing full-stack applications using Java, Python, TypeScript, React, and SQL.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance or TS/SCI eligibility with a completed Tier 5 investigation at the time of submission.
- Preferred qualifications include DoD, Intelligence Community, or federal program experience; AI/ML work in classified environments; AWS or Azure certifications; Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform, or DevSecOps certifications; and experience leading software teams or modernization initiatives.
