Base Salary
$165k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver software and firmware for common processors and microcontrollers
- Support launch operations
- Collaborate with peers and customers
- Bring up and validate devices that communicate with and fly in space
- Analyze test results and investigate software bugs in depth
- Integrate and troubleshoot flight hardware and software systems
- Own the software lifecycle, including development, testing, and operational support
- Work in a dynamic environment with changing requirements and challenges
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, math, physics, or another scientific discipline, or 2+ years of professional software-writing experience in lieu of a degree
- 5+ years of software development experience with C++ or C
- Active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q clearance, with Top Secret or TS/SCI with Polygraph noted as an additional requirement
- Development experience with microcontrollers and familiarity with NXP microcontrollers
- Strong C++ software engineering fundamentals and knowledge of computer architecture and networks
- Linux and Bash shell scripting experience
- Understanding of verification methodologies
- Strong communication, documentation, collaboration, and software-process skills
- Must meet applicable ITAR eligibility or authorization requirements
