Responsibilities
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and enhance production systems supporting critical clearing and settlement functions.
- Participate in the full software lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment of the next-generation Clearing System.
- Maintain and improve large legacy codebases while preserving system stability and quality.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, technical documentation, code reviews, and design reviews.
- Join a 24/7 on-call rotation to support high availability and resolve incidents affecting mission-critical services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in Java backend development.
- Ability and willingness to work with established production systems and large legacy codebases.
- Experience working effectively in agile teams with strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Preferred experience with Gradle, Git, GitLab, Jenkins, AWS, or Kubernetes.
- Preferred familiarity with capital markets domains such as clearing, settlement, trading, financial instruments, or corporate actions.
- Preferred exposure to global teams and cross-border collaboration.
