Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and operate forecasting and data-platform components and services from design through production.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and participate in design and code reviews.
- Break projects into workable tasks, deliver predictably, and communicate progress and risks.
- Partner with applied and data scientists to build and maintain model training, inference, and monitoring pipelines.
- Build instrumentation and dashboards for forecast accuracy, timeliness, and cost efficiency, and investigate issues.
- Participate in on-call rotation and improve operational excellence through runbooks, alarms, and toil reduction.
- Develop domain expertise in advertising and live sports and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
