Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into technical designs, programming instructions, and application solutions.
- Develop, code, test, debug, review, and modify applications across the end-to-end stack.
- Build queries in relational database management systems using Oracle and SQL.
- Analyze data sources and contribute to database management solutions, batch processing, and backup plans.
- Provide application production support, troubleshoot issues, and potentially carry a pager.
- Work with business partners, technology teams, clients, vendors, and peers to identify and resolve problems.
- Provide technical guidance on the business implications of application development projects.
- Maintain adherence to regulatory, information security, and application management standards.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience as a Data Application Developer.
- Strong Oracle and SQL coding experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of the software development life cycle and batch processing.
- Experience with application production support, logical thinking, organization, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to manage relationships with technology and business partners.
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Advanced verbal communication skills and the ability to analyze business requirements and design technical solutions.
