Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test embedded C++ software for firmware and application layers.
- Develop firmware features, application-layer logic, and reusable platform components for medical devices.
- Use or learn Python for scripting, tooling, and automation support.
- Collaborate with Agile teams using GitHub or Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Write maintainable code and improve Jenkins workflows to support continuous integration.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and documentation to ensure code quality.
- Translate customer requirements into technical solutions and lead small feature or module development when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in embedded software or application development.
- Strong C++ skills with solid software design and data structure fundamentals.
- Exposure to Python and willingness to develop further proficiency.
- Experience with Agile development and tools including Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and Jenkins.
- Commitment to testing, documentation, code quality, communication, and collaboration.
- Preferred: experience in regulated or safety-critical industries such as medical devices or automotive systems.
- Preferred: knowledge of test-driven development or advanced continuous integration and deployment processes.
