Base Salary
$189k - $236k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define the direction, initiatives, and strategy for the developer productivity platform.
- Build automated bootstrapping, development, testing, and delivery pipelines.
- Advance self-service engineering technologies and improve local development experiences.
- Build self-healing infrastructure and improve the performance and reliability of existing systems.
- Streamline microservice creation, reproducible builds, SDLC release processes, and large-scale release management.
- Host brown-bag sessions and demos to drive collaboration and adoption.
- Coach and mentor engineers and collaborate on technical designs.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of engineering experience.
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or a related field.
- Experience building CI/CD infrastructure with tools such as Tekton, Prow, CircleCI, Jenkins, Spinnaker, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience improving SDLC release processes, developer experience, local environments, and reproducible builds.
- Expertise with Git flow and versioning strategies and experience working with multiple stakeholders in large organizations.
- Experience with Golang, Ruby on Rails, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Working knowledge of AWS services and technologies.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
- Experience with large-scale distributed release management processes and container orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes.
- Preferred experience with Gerrit, Android OS (AOSP) build systems, and embedded systems builds and compiles.

- Compensation varies by residence; the listed United States range is $189,000–$236,000.
