Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, develop, and maintain hardware and software systems for accessory products.
  • Perform hardware bring-up, schematic review, chip-level debugging, system integration, and prototyping.
  • Develop firmware for low-power ARM Cortex-M/R/A microcontrollers using standard bus interfaces.
  • Characterize, test, and validate designs and analyze results.
  • Create reports and presentations and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field with a strong software focus.
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in embedded firmware development for high-volume consumer accessories or mobile hardware.
  • Demonstrable C coding skills.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, reading schematics, and debugging chip-level functionality on new hardware builds.
  • Experience with system integration and prototyping on low-power microcontrollers using ARM Cortex-M/R/A architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with I2C, SPI, UART, and USB interfaces.
  • Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Preferred experience with power delivery, power management, battery charging architectures, sensor integration, Bluetooth or Bluetooth Low Energy, proprietary short-range wireless protocols, compiler toolchains, RTOS environments, and automated firmware test frameworks.
