Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to support EMEA customers and prospects.
- Conduct infrastructural and architectural discovery and collaboratively design solutions.
- Help prospects evaluate their requirements against Contentful’s platform and identify or mitigate technical and business risks.
- Create product demonstrations and support technical evaluations showing how Contentful solves business problems and integrates with prospect technology stacks.
- Communicate prospect and customer needs and product feedback to product management, marketing, and sales.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Customer Success Managers to support successful customer implementation and launch.
Requirements
- Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solution Engineer, Architect, or Solution Consultant at a cloud-based, growth-oriented PaaS or SaaS company, or 5–10 years as a developer working on digital experience delivery with marketing technology platforms.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate business and technical concepts to marketing-focused and technical audiences.
- Proven experience with current web technologies, including JavaScript frameworks, static site generators, REST APIs, and CDNs.
- Experience with content management platforms or similar MarTech technology is preferred.
- Prior experience with solution selling methodologies or value-based selling techniques is preferred.
- Understanding of MACH products and composable architectures is preferred.
- Strong emotional intelligence, curiosity, and the ability to work across multiple opportunities and teams.
