Intern: Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with an assigned team and experienced software engineers on specific projects and process improvements.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy features and enhancements for frontend, backend, mobile, or full-stack applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and documented code using relevant programming languages.
- Participate in code reviews and provide and receive feedback on code quality.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
- Apply software engineering practices involving version control and testing frameworks.
- Document technical designs, processes, and code.
- Attend team meetings, stand-ups, and brainstorming sessions.
- Present internship work and learnings to the team and potentially leadership.
Requirements
- Be a current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree at a U.S.-accredited college or university.
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Have familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including Word, and G-Suite, including Google Docs.
- Have experience writing and editing documentation.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Possess a professional, enthusiastic, and friendly demeanor and demonstrate integrity, drive, humility, and intelligence.
