Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, deploy, and operate systems and services at global scale.
  • Decompose complex problems into straightforward solutions while understanding system interdependencies and limitations.
  • Apply and share effective performance, scalability, architecture, and engineering patterns.
  • Own systems end to end and contribute to mission-critical AWS identity and access-management projects.
  • Collaborate with senior and principal engineers and mentor more junior team members.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
  • 1+ years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • 1+ years of object-oriented design experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: 3+ years covering the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
