Base Salary
$165k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable distributed systems for large-scale data processing.
- Build features for data catalog, data discovery, data ingestion, and data transformation products.
- Collaborate with internal customers, stakeholders, and peers to understand data needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Contribute to design, code review, testing, deployment, operational support, and root-cause analysis across the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
- Evaluate emerging data-processing technologies and recommend approaches for adoption.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
