Responsibilities

Own feature areas end to end from technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-launch monitoring.
Design, build, and ship secure, reliable, performant, production-ready features across the OIG system.
Deliver bug fixes and handle customer-reported issues.
Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and uphold high engineering quality standards.
Partner with Product Development, QA, and Site Reliability Engineering teams to scope development and deployment work.

5+ years of experience with Java using Spring or Dropwizard and/or Golang, including deep knowledge of multithreading and asynchronous processing.
Experience building high-performance APIs and/or gRPC services.
Strong experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL and Redis at scale.
Hands-on AWS experience with Fargate, EC2, and Lambda, plus Terraform-based infrastructure management.
Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, or GitHub Actions.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Preferred experience with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT tokens, Splunk, SignalFX, Datadog, Kafka, SQS, React, and JavaScript.
