Base Salary
$18k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop complex, data-intensive web applications supporting supply chain workflows.
- Build real-time data visualizations and event-driven user interfaces.
- Make and document technical decisions in collaboration with engineering peers.
- Develop and deploy containerized front-end applications using modern orchestration systems.
- Participate in on-call rotations and own the operational health of shipped services.
- Partner with product, design, data, backend, and operations teams to improve operator workflows.
- Create maintainable, well-documented code with comprehensive test coverage.
- Use telemetry and user interaction data to identify regressions and improve application performance.
- Translate complex business requirements into intuitive user experiences.
- Contribute to backend services when end-to-end features require it.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of front-end software engineering experience.
- Proven experience building high-quality, scalable user interfaces for operational workflows.
- Deep proficiency in a modern front-end framework, particularly Next.js with TypeScript.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges across the stack.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including leading technical discussions with product, design, and operations partners.
- Preferred: complex supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management systems experience.
- Preferred: strong proficiency in Next.js and Node.js.
- Preferred: knowledge of gRPC client implementation.
- Preferred: experience with large-scale operational datasets and third-party WMS or ERP integrations.
- Preferred: mentoring or leading other front-end engineers.
- Project management experience is a plus.
