Base Salary
$185k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship high-quality products and features powering Decagon’s conversational AI agents.
- Own engineering work end to end and develop scalable solutions for complex system challenges.
- Work on agent engineering, agent orchestration, enterprise product, or infrastructure systems.
- Investigate system failures across deep technology stacks using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with customers and cross-functional product, data, and machine learning teams where applicable.
Requirements
- Pursuing or completing a B.S. or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field, with graduation between December 2026 and July 2027.
- Proficiency with Python, TypeScript, and asynchronous programming.
- Demonstrated experience building and shipping products or features through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
- Comfort troubleshooting system failures across complex technology stacks.
- Experience using AI coding agents as part of development.
- Preferred experience includes multimodal models, distributed systems, data pipelines, production infrastructure, and 0-to-1 product building.
