Base Salary
$138k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deploy and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.
- Automate new cloud service deployments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud services to meet SLAs and maintain adequate capacity.
- Analyze logs and events and provide recommendations for smooth service operation.
- Improve the security, stability, speed, and capacity of Akamai’s network.
- Identify and resolve infrastructure issues in large-scale cloud-based environments.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Networking, IT, Information Systems, or Telecommunications Engineering.
- Two years of experience in the job offered or a closely related engineering role.
- Two years of experience with Amazon Web Services, including EC2, Lambda, ELB, Route 53, EventBridge, and S3.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Python, Ansible, Jenkins, Packer, Jinja, Pulumi, and Bash.
