Base Salary
$143k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Determine user requirements and identify dependencies for products, applications, services, and platforms.
- Create design documents and develop, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance, maintainability, and effectiveness.
- Build AI-driven services that evaluate security posture and orchestrate automated fixes across IC3.
- Partner with stakeholders to drive project plans, release plans, and work items.
- Serve as a Designated Responsible Individual, guide engineers, monitor services on call, and coordinate restoration for service degradation or interruptions.
- Improve availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, monitoring, and operations at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field plus 6 or more years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with one or more of C#, Python, Go, or Java and with distributed systems or cloud services.
- Experience with service-oriented architecture, microservices, or large-scale cloud systems such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Understanding of secure coding, authentication, authorization, and service security fundamentals.
- Experience developing or integrating AI/ML or automation frameworks for workflow optimization, issue detection, or intelligent decision-making.
- System design and problem-solving skills, including translating complex security or compliance requirements into automated solutions.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code for large-scale deployments.
- Experience with Designated Responsible Individual or similar operational responsibilities for service availability and reliability.
- Experience with hyperscale distributed systems, cybersecurity analysis, threat modeling, agentic programming, and LLMs is preferred.
- Ability to meet Microsoft Cloud Background Check and applicable customer or government security screening requirements.
Benefits
- The typical U.S. base pay range is $142,800-$274,800 per year, with a separate San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area range.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
- The position is open for at least five days and accepts applications on an ongoing basis until filled.
