Base Salary
$107k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operationalize classical machine learning, deep learning, and LLM-based models from experimentation through scalable production systems.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end machine learning pipelines with CI/CD, monitoring, and model performance tracking.
- Lead technical design reviews and define architecture standards for scalability, reliability, and security.
- Partner with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver business-aligned AI solutions.
- Apply and champion MLOps best practices across the full model lifecycle.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience delivering machine learning solutions in production.
- Strong programming skills in Python; Java and SQL are a plus.
- Hands-on experience with NLP, document understanding, classification, entity extraction, and relationship extraction.
- Experience processing unstructured data such as PDFs and images using vision/language models and OCR.
- Strong understanding of data preparation, feature engineering, model development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Experience with distributed computing such as Spark or Hadoop and at least one major cloud platform.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and production-grade engineering practices.
- Experience with fraud detection, anomaly detection, or deepfake detection is a plus.
- Exposure to generative AI, LLM fine-tuning, or agent-based systems is a plus.
- Experience working in agile environments, including JIRA, is a plus.
