Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement simulation platform components and optimization algorithms for global AWS data center replenishment planning.
- Own significant portions of the planning system across design, development, deployment, testing, and operational support.
- Translate supply chain requirements from stakeholders and customers into scalable, maintainable software.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high software quality standards.
- Investigate system issues, identify root causes, implement permanent fixes, and improve software performance and team processes.
- Develop and review code, refactor systems, implement planner-requested features, investigate metrics, respond to alerts, and maintain platform reliability at scale.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- 1+ year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
