Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation solutions, reusable components, scheduled jobs, event-driven automations, and workflow orchestrations.
- Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, file-based interfaces, messaging patterns, and data transformations.
- Develop and maintain automation services and tooling using Python and .NET.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines covering build, testing, security scanning, and release activities.
- Operate production solutions through monitoring, alerting, logging, incident response, triage, and root cause analysis.
- Improve reliability, performance, resilience, and cost efficiency using observability and SRE-style practices.
- Apply secure engineering practices, operational controls, audit requirements, code reviews, testing, and maintainable architecture.
- Maintain resource inventory, CRM information, runbooks, operational documentation, and knowledge articles.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience with Python and experience delivering end-to-end solutions.
- Typically 3–6+ years of relevant engineering experience in automation, backend, integration, or platform roles.
- Experience building integrations with REST APIs, authentication mechanisms, and JSON, XML, or CSV data formats.
- Experience with unit and integration testing, test automation, quality gates, code reviews, and documentation standards.
- Troubleshooting ability across application, network, and data layers, including clear root cause and solution documentation.
- Knowledge of performance and reliability patterns such as timeouts, retries, and circuit breakers.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and production ownership skills.
- Experience with .NET, including C# or VB, in production environments is beneficial.
- Hands-on knowledge of Dataverse, SharePoint Online, and Power Platform administration is beneficial.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, release management, Git branching strategies, observability, and operational readiness is beneficial.
- Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments is beneficial.
