Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mid-to-large-scale Oracle Cloud HCM development initiatives, including timelines and development goals.
- Provide technical leadership, thought leadership, and technology roadmaps for the Oracle Cloud HCM consulting practice.
- Gather and analyze business, technical, and infrastructure requirements and design client HCM solutions.
- Develop proof-of-concept prototypes and implementation models while ensuring architecture, availability, scalability, performance, and security objectives.
- Design, develop, implement, and deploy Oracle Integration Cloud solutions connecting Oracle Cloud HCM with legacy applications.
- Build HCM integrations, extensions, extracts, conversions, reports, and web-service integrations using Oracle HCM technologies.
- Define integration requirements and best practices for enterprise systems including Oracle Cloud, JD Edwards, and E-Business Suite.
- Lead requirements, design, development, testing, and code reviews to ensure deliverable quality.
- Provide client knowledge transfer, demonstrations, documentation, status reporting, and hand-off support.
- Coach and mentor Cloud Technical team members and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required; a master's degree or PhD is preferred.
- 8–10 years of overall IT experience, including at least 5 years focused on Oracle Cloud HCM development.
- Experience serving as a solution architect or lead on at least two full life-cycle Oracle Cloud HCM implementations or multiple large Oracle Cloud HCM initiatives.
- Experience managing multiple initiatives for different clients with advanced technical management skills.
- At least 3 years of experience building complex Oracle Integration Cloud solutions using REST, SOAP, FBDI, and BI Publisher.
- At least 4 years of report development experience using BI Publisher, HCM Extract, and OTBI reports.
- Hands-on experience with HCM Extract, Fast Formulas, HCM Data Loader, and data conversion using HDL and FBDI.
- Experience with Oracle PaaS, Oracle Middleware, Oracle SaaS extensions, and custom applications built in Java Cloud Service or similar environments.
- Advanced knowledge of programming languages, database creation and maintenance, customer-facing interfaces, and software development.
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM security, API security certificates, authentication, authorization, IP security, endpoint configuration, Oracle Identity Manager, LDAP, Microsoft Active Directory, and identity propagation.
- Relevant programming or software development coursework or certifications is helpful, and Oracle Integration Cloud certification, Oracle Visual Builder, and Process Builder experience are preferred.
- Additional experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and/or E-Business Suite is a plus.
