Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of critical components in the Digital Engineering stack, primarily focused on UI solutions.
- Work across the software lifecycle with backend teams, product owners, visual designers, business users, operations users, and clients.
- Lead engineering teams in delivering complex digital products with multiple stakeholders.
- Drive code quality, automation, testability, and high-availability architecture for mission-critical systems.
- Define product vision and roadmap and contribute to the engineering culture.
- Develop talent within a group of engineers.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–7 years of relevant professional experience using JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience building modern UI products with React.
- Proven ability to lead engineering teams and deliver complex products involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience architecting and designing full-stack applications in AWS.
- Experience with high-availability, mission-critical systems using active/active and blue-green deployment methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred experience with Node, Webpack, MobX, Redux, Spring Boot, Kafka, SQL databases, PostgreSQL, Oracle, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and AWS.
- Preferred experience with Transaction Banking, payments, financial services, fintech, microservice architectures, REST APIs, and containers.
