Responsibilities
- Design and deliver software applications supporting Equity Derivatives and Delta 1 trading desks’ global marking and pricing activities.
- Write consistently high-quality code and identify system enhancements for new products and process improvements.
- Partner with related teams to meet business-critical goals within agreed timelines.
- Analyze and resolve complex, high-impact business and technology problems.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant systems, processes, business areas, and industry standards.
- Serve as a technical and delivery lead and coach mid-level developers and analysts.
- Assess and manage technology and business risks while complying with applicable laws, regulations, and Citi policies.
Requirements
- Experience as a technical lead or senior developer working with front-end technologies, ideally JavaScript and React.
- Extensive experience analyzing systems and developing production-quality software applications.
- Experience working with APIs and microservices systems.
- Experience maintaining observability, robust testing practices, and clean CI/CD pipelines.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred experience with React applications displaying real-time market data and analytics.
- Preferred understanding of derivatives instruments, markets, and market-data inputs for pricing and marking.
- Preferred exposure to microservices, container, cloud deployment, and hosting designs.
- Preferred experience using AI agent assistant tools rationally and safely for coding.
- Additional beneficial technologies include Kafka, ELK, Splunk, and DBaaS.
