Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate secure, scalable AWS/EKS cloud infrastructure.
- Lead application onboarding and migration to standardized cloud patterns and platform services.
- Develop and maintain GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Manage Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code and broader infrastructure automation.
- Migrate credential-based authentication to AWS IAM, IRSA, and secure identity management practices.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments for reliability, security, and scalability.
- Champion observability and SRE practices, including monitoring, logging, and performance improvements.
- Promote automation across infrastructure and application lifecycle management.
- Maintain documentation for platform processes, configurations, and standards.
- Contribute to service catalog ownership and governance while collaborating with Platform Engineering, Security, and Product teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a DevSecOps or DevOps Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS/Amazon Web Services and advanced Kubernetes knowledge, ideally including EKS.
- Strong experience with GitHub and GitHub-based development and CI/CD workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Solid experience with Docker, containerized environments, and Linux.
- Experience with cloud and infrastructure automation, AWS authentication and IAM, and Amazon CloudWatch monitoring.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
- A strong security mindset and interest in reliable, scalable, and well-governed cloud platforms.
- Python scripting or automation experience is preferred.
- Java application or ecosystem experience is preferred.
- Dynatrace or other observability platform experience is preferred.
- Experience with AWS IAM Roles for Service Accounts (IRSA), SRE principles, and large-scale enterprise or financial services environments is preferred.
