Responsibilities
- Architect and implement automated behavioral analysis pipelines to detect trial abuse and account takeovers.
- Build continuous risk scoring systems to proactively identify emerging threats.
- Develop a sender reputation tracking system integrated with email deliverability signals.
- Engineer advanced analysis capabilities for campaign content and threat detection.
- Deploy complex detection logic and custom Python services for real-time security responses.
- Collaborate with the Security Platform Engineering team to enhance data pipelines.
- Design automated response workflows to mitigate abuse at scale.
- Partner with Product Security Engineering to detect synthetic content and inauthentic behavior.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building fraud detection or security monitoring systems.
- Expert-level Python development skills with production-grade code experience.
- Deep expertise in messaging abuse patterns, including email/SMS phishing and spam.
- Strong understanding of ML-based detection systems and behavioral analytics.
- Technical proficiency with modern abuse tooling, such as Sift.
- Experience in SaaS messaging, marketing automation, or ESP platforms is a bonus.
- Collaborative mindset to work cross-functionally with various teams.
