Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure, scalable platform services, and automated systems.
- Support deployment, observability, operations, CI/CD, and continuous delivery tooling.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Chef, Packer, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Manage and optimize AWS and Azure environments for availability and cost efficiency.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve platform performance, reliability, and operational systems.
- Collaborate with software engineering, product, quality assurance, security, operations, and platform teams.
- Implement infrastructure security practices and conduct regular security assessments.
- Champion automated testing and observability standards for reliable releases.
- Document and diagram DevOps and continuous delivery processes and systems.
- Provide support, training, orientation, and onboarding assistance to team members.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is required, or equivalent work experience directly related to the role may substitute for the degree.
- At least 13 years of DevOps engineering experience is required.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools including Terraform, Chef, and Packer.
- Experience with Linux or Windows systems, virtual machines, containers, and Docker.
- Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, and Go.
- Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and CircleCI.
- Experience with observability tools including OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Dynatrace, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Understanding of networking, security, system administration, architecture, and infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, work remotely or in a hybrid environment, and work flexible hours across time zones.
