Base Salary
$188k - $251k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, optimize, and harden release pipelines, data models, and APIs.
- Reduce build and test times by improving Gradle/Bazel configurations.
- Eliminate flaky tests and unstable infrastructure in CI pipelines.
- Automate compliance processes for FedRAMP and other audits.
- Instrument CI/CD workflows with metrics and dashboards.
- Shift logs and build outputs to structured formats for better debugging.
- Encourage API-first operations in new tools and refactored pipelines.
- Define and evolve infrastructure as code using Terraform and Helm.
- Manage configuration drift and scaling of deployment targets.
- Design deployment strategies that balance rapid delivery with reliability.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical incidents.
- Lead multi-developer projects and provide technical mentorship.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience in Release, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Java or a similar statically-typed language.
- Experience with build tools like Gradle, Bazel, or Maven at scale.
- Experience managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform or similar tools.
- Experience operating modern CI/CD platforms and improving their performance.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
