Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and direction within the Technology Delivery team and delivery pod.
- Contribute thought leadership to the platform technology roadmap, quality standards, and processes.
- Direct delivery of technology products aligned with business outcomes, timelines, and the platform roadmap.
- Configure and code changes and interfaces for Acurity systems, and train others to perform this work.
- Conduct design, code, and test reviews and embed quality practices throughout development.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, mitigate risks, reduce run costs, and minimize technical debt.
- Perform sprint tasks and develop software as part of the delivery pod.
- Facilitate meetings, obtain commitment, and resolve issues.
Requirements
- Qualification in IT or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience as a software developer.
- 5+ years of development experience with Acurity.
- In-depth knowledge of superannuation, investment, and retirement products.
- Experience working in an agile environment and with iteration management.
- Ability to facilitate meetings effectively and obtain commitment and resolve issues.
- Experience providing technical thought leadership.
- Desirable experience with Acurity Services and Azure Service Integration.
- Desirable life insurance experience.
- Desirable experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
- Desirable automation testing experience.
