Responsibilities
- Design cloud services for availability, scalability, observability, and testability.
- Implement, validate, and document services and their component microservices.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver and operate cloud services for animation, film, and game studios.
- Lead implementation of the team’s technical vision and launch new cloud services.
- Establish operational excellence and ensure compliance with software development standards and best practices.
- Coach and mentor other engineers while driving complex technical projects independently.
- Engage with geographically distributed engineering teams and promote technical innovation.
Requirements
- Substantial experience authoring designs and building, leading, delivering, and operating cloud services at the technical level.
- Proven track record, technical depth, and maturity as a software developer in a principal-level individual contributor role.
- Deep domain knowledge of media production pipeline infrastructure used by film, animation, and game development studios is highly desired.
- Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
- Ability to drive complex technical assignments independently and confidently.
