Responsibilities
- Design robust real-time integration patterns using SAP Integration Suite, Cloud Integration/CPI, API Management, and Event Mesh.
- Oversee secure technical connectivity between SAP S/4HANA environments and third-party SaaS, legacy applications, and hyperscaler workloads.
- Drive clean-core adoption through SAP BTP side-by-side extensibility and modern on-stack techniques.
- Establish and enforce development standards for CAP, RAP, ABAP, and UI5/Fiori.
- Define transport management, deployment, and Git-based CI/CD strategies using Cloud ALM and TMS/CTS+.
- Design security and identity architectures using SAP Cloud Identity Services, SSO, IAM, and OAuth 2.0.
- Partner with Basis and infrastructure teams on sizing, high availability, and disaster recovery standards across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Mentor Basis, ABAP, and integration engineers and communicate architecture constraints and dependencies to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in SAP environments, including at least 3 years leading technical architecture, development, or integration streams.
- Hands-on experience developing Cloud Integration, managing OData and REST APIs, and working with CAP, RAP, advanced ABAP, or Java.
- Deep practical experience with SAP BTP services, setup, security, and Cloud Identity Services.
- Working knowledge of SAP Cloud ALM and SAP Signavio.
- Strong understanding of S/4HANA architecture, SAP NetWeaver, and HANA database mechanics.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture across business, data, application, and technology layers and with multi-cloud hybrid ecosystems.
- Experience with SAP Activate and RISE with SAP is preferred.
- Certifications in SAP integration, BTP development, or enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or SAP EA Framework are preferred.
- Strong communication, mentoring, forward-looking architecture, and SAP roadmap analysis skills are expected.
