Responsibilities
- Design large-scale enterprise solutions covering APIs, integrations, data flows, and supporting cloud infrastructure.
- Translate business requirements into clear, documented architectures that engineering teams can implement.
- Present and defend architecture designs to enterprise architects, programme leaders, business owners, and other senior client stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product managers, client governance functions, and third-party vendors through delivery and production.
- Balance cost, risk, delivery speed, and long-term maintainability while contributing reusable architecture standards and patterns.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Solutions Architect designing and delivering large-scale enterprise platforms from concept through production.
- Consultancy or comparable client-facing delivery experience across multiple engagements or programmes.
- Proven ability to align technical and business stakeholders with competing priorities.
- Strong grounding in distributed systems, API design, integration architecture, data processing, data warehousing, SQL, NoSQL, and data pipelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including structured technical design documentation.
- Experience architecting cloud-native platforms on a major public cloud and understanding containerized and orchestrated deployments such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Software engineering background with the ability to engage deeply with implementation details and project constraints.
- Preferred experience includes decisioning or personalization platforms, telecommunications or regulated enterprises, JVM technologies, event-driven architectures, commercial configuration systems, machine-learning outputs in real-time customer systems, or agentic solutions.
