Responsibilities
- Drive high-quality system architecture and design.
- Create roadmaps and a scalable, robust product vision.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to make the platform open and extensible.
- Align stakeholders and lead engineers on mission-critical projects.
- Decompose complex problems into straightforward solutions.
- Apply internal and industry design best practices.
- Investigate and resolve critical system issues.
- Partner with Product to shape product direction and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Minimum 12 years of software design and development experience with Java and Python.
- Proven experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems in the Supply Chain domain.
- Large-system architecture design and development experience.
- Cloud computing experience with AWS.
- Experience developing container-based testing environments.
- Experience with Java, IntelliJ, and Spring.
- Preferred: deep understanding of the Supply Chain domain and AWS ecosystem, including compute, storage, and distributed services.
- Preferred: experience mentoring junior engineers, influencing team architecture, and communicating effectively.
