- Manage the full software development life cycle from architecture and invention through development, release, and ongoing maintenance.
- Drive technical strategy, system design, architecture, and best practices for the FlashBlade Networking product area.
- Invent and optimize algorithms for multi-array and multi-cloud storage orchestration with a focus on resiliency and performance.
- Own features from concept through production while ensuring observability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers across global sites to deliver customer-focused features.
- Mentor engineers and champion a culture of code quality.
Requirements
- 18+ years of experience developing and implementing high-performance networking products.
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Significant networking stack expertise and hands-on systems development experience with IPv4/IPv6, API design, distributed systems, and/or device drivers.
- Hands-on experience with the Broadcom SDK and familiarity with modern switch silicon features such as ECMP and QoS.
- Direct Linux Kernel or device driver development experience.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, algorithmic, coding, and testing skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, accountability, flexibility, self-discipline, and self-motivation.
