Responsibilities
- Design and develop performant, scalable, reusable, extensible, secure, and reliable APIs.
- Build microservices, extend in-house APIs, and develop client-side code that integrates with internal and external services.
- Partner with frontend engineering teams to understand user requirements and build robust endpoints.
- Contribute to continuous integration, infrastructure provisioning, automated deployment, testing, and version control.
- Drive system design, architectural governance, strategic technical contributions, and the long-term technical roadmap.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on software application development experience building production-grade software.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot, Spring Framework, or Quarkus Framework.
- Proven expertise building distributed, cloud-native applications focused on high availability, scalability, and reliability.
- Deep experience with containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes on cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Ability to adapt quickly and work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment with minimal supervision.
- Curiosity about and active exploration of AI tools, including a history of integrating new technologies to improve workflows and problem-solving.
- Comfort switching among Java, Go, Python, and C++ based on project requirements is preferred.
- Experience designing complex GitLab CI/CD pipelines and automated release workflows is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of container infrastructure management and Kubernetes orchestration is preferred.
