Base Salary
$180k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build APIs, backend services, and document-processing workflows for legal research, drafting, review, and finished work.
- Own product features from technical design through release and iteration in collaboration with engineering and legal teams.
- Integrate AI capabilities into production workflows with attention to quality, speed, and dependable behavior.
- Improve interfaces for complex document tasks and translate user needs into engineering plans.
- Improve performance, investigate production issues, and strengthen testing, monitoring, and code quality.
Requirements
- Three to ten years of experience shipping and maintaining production web applications or services.
- Strong programming skills in a modern language such as Python or TypeScript and solid software design fundamentals.
- Experience building APIs and backend services and working with databases, cloud infrastructure, or distributed systems.
- Experience integrating AI or LLM capabilities into production systems and building document-processing workflows.
- Practical experience with testing, code review, debugging, reliability, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Background in frontend development, complex data or security products, legal technology, or workflow automation is relevant.
