Responsibilities
- Design client solutions with account executives across pre-sales, solution design, and implementation.
- Develop proof-of-concept applications on Airwallex and present technical demonstrations.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical integration issues and promote best-practice implementations.
- Provide product teams with strategic feedback to reduce implementation friction and accelerate time to go-live.
- Own outstanding deliverables throughout the end-to-end project delivery lifecycle.
- Collaborate with customers, partners, engineering, product, sales, and executive stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with strong academic achievements.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar customer-facing engineering role, such as solution consultant, solutions architect, sales engineer, or IT consultant.
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working with customers, partners, and engineering teams.
- Understanding of at least one major programming language, such as PHP, Ruby, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs into web applications.
- Preferred: knowledge of payments or financial services.
- Preferred: experience integrating platforms such as Xero, NetSuite, Fusion Cloud, and QuickBooks.
- Preferred: executive engagement, relationship-building, organizational, time-management, independent decision-making, and strategic problem-solving skills.
