Base Salary
$130k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define risk-based QA strategies across UI, API, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Build scalable, reusable UI and API automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and REST Assured.
- Automate validation of API contracts, payloads, errors, dependencies, business rules, relational data, and end-to-end outcomes.
- Integrate automated tests with Git-based continuous delivery pipelines.
- Perform load and performance testing and apply performance concepts such as P95.
- Partner with Scrum teams, engineers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to communicate quality risks and recommendations.
- Influence quality outcomes through code reviews, technical documentation, knowledge sharing, mentoring, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in Quality Assurance and risk-based testing strategies.
- Advanced Java capability with object-oriented principles and clean-code practices.
- Advanced REST API testing and validation capability.
- Advanced DevOps capability, including automated testing in continuous delivery pipelines.
- Advanced SQL capability for validating relational data, transaction state, test data, and business outcomes.
- Hands-on experience building UI and API automation frameworks with Selenium and REST Assured.
- Working knowledge of load testing, performance concepts such as P95, and tools such as JMeter, BlazeMeter, or LoadRunner.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex quality risks, evidence, and recommendations.
- Preferred experience with PCF, GCP, AWS, Sauce Labs, MongoDB, infrastructure-as-a-service concepts, Jira, Zephyr, Confluence, Bamboo, or Bitbucket.
- Preferred experience using Generative AI for test design, code quality, automation maintenance, documentation, or defect analysis with human validation.
