SS&C TechnologiesResponsibilities
- Respond to incidents in production-hosted environments and support service restoration.
- Monitor production systems, troubleshoot application, database, and system integrations, and perform root cause analysis.
- Execute deployments and configuration changes across production and non-production environments in accordance with change management processes.
- Coordinate with operations, business teams, delivery teams, and external vendors to facilitate service delivery and restoration.
- Maintain documentation of incidents, fixes, and operational procedures while identifying process improvements.
- Monitor application and system health and alerts and support disaster recovery, backup, and patching activities.
Requirements
- IT degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of experience supporting enterprise application environments.
- Understanding of DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, SDLC, ITIL-based processes, and GCP-hosted infrastructure.
- Proficiency in C#, Python, Bash/Shell, and MS SQL development and debugging.
- Experience with ODBC, SPAN RPC, ASP, JBOSS, and .NET services or applications.
- Familiarity with Elastic, LogicMonitor, Dynatrace, ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, Visual Studio, Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, and NexusIQ.
- Experience with Unix and Windows Server environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, accountability, and customer-focus skills.
- Desirable experience includes Bravura or similar superannuation technology stacks, Control-M or other batch scheduling systems, and LaunchDarkly or similar feature enablement platforms.
