Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Review other engineers’ code for style, correctness, testability, efficiency, and adherence to best practices.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing impacts on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to evaluate available technologies.
- Build and operate reliable, scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure for the global Android ecosystem.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
