Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain backend services in Rust and Python.
- Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize large-scale production systems.
- Ensure service reliability, scalability, performance, and high availability.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and respond to production incidents.
- Collaborate with engineers to improve code, infrastructure, and processes.
- Use AI tools to enhance development, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Strong backend development experience, preferably with Rust and/or Python.
- Experience running and maintaining production systems.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud environments, ideally Google Cloud Platform.
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties.
- Interest in adopting and experimenting with AI tooling.
- Attention to reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
