Base Salary

$54k - $122k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and integrate advanced networking features for RDK-B home and business gateway products.
  • Work with RDK-B, OpenWRT, prplOS, embedded Linux, broadband gateway technologies, and networking protocols.
  • Debug complex embedded environments, including kernel-level and packet-flow issues.
  • Collaborate with chipset vendors, cross-functional teams, and customer support to deliver scalable solutions.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of embedded software development experience using C; C++ is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of RDK-B, OpenWRT, prplOS architecture, and broadband gateway technologies.
  • Hands-on embedded Linux experience, including kernel-level concepts and system debugging.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, HTTP, packet flow, firewall/iptables, and IPv6 transition technologies.
  • Familiarity with Git, Gerrit, gdb, valgrind, Wireshark, and tcpdump.
  • Preferred qualifications include Wi-Fi and IEEE 802.11 experience, DOCSIS, MoCA, TR-069/TR-181, SNMP, Broadcom or Qualcomm chipset SDKs, WPA3, RADIUS, and SSL/TLS.
